Event: Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series + Introduction to Second Series with Amy Gordon

Date: Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 1:00pm-3:00pm

Cost: $45

This special event will provide a deep cleansing experience on all levels, quieting the busy mind while connecting body, soul, heart and spirit. The format will include a led Ashtanga Primary Series class along with an exploration into Second Series. We will explore tristana, the three key components to this sacred practice: bandhas, ujayi breath, and drishti.

We will explore the relationship between the physical portion of practice to Patanjali's scripture, pranayama (breathing exercises) and relaxation (savasana). Students will enjoy many levels of healing as they finally embrace stillness with reiki energy balancing in savasana (corpse pose). The session will conclude with a Q&A session. Amy Gordon, a senior teacher, is thrilled to return to Rosemary Court for her third visit. Amy will share the many gifts she has received over her 35 years of practice and study with Pattabhi Jois in NYC & FL and Saraswathi Jois in Mysore, India, among many other teachers worldwide. She is passionate about her daily practice which she began as a teen in Philadelphia, and grateful for the opportunity to teach and share the pearls of wisdom she has received. We are so excited to welcome Amy back for her third visit to Rosemary Court Yoga!

Balancing your Constitution in Ayurveda by the practice of the 1st series of Ashtanga Yoga

A discussion about developing your Prana, Tejas, and Ojas. These three sanskrit words indicate the vitality, awareness and deep stability that is realized when the practitioner accomplishes his or her goals. When Ashtanga yoga practice is developed through an understanding of the doshas (bodily energies) a recognition of the body, requirements become clear and the practice gets adjusted by this understanding of the body’s needs.

Pranayama (breathing techniques for longevity)

Sunday, October 23: 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Wrapping it all up, Putting it All Together Again

Led primary series putting into practice the building blocks from the two previous days. Deep savanna, meditation, conclusion, Q & A.

I am thrilled to be hosting an incredible healer and friend, Eve Kerwin, White Buffalo Woman for her much anticipated return:

NOVEMBER 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th, 2016.

My experiences with Eve have been profound beyond words. Just like attempting to describe the sensations of a yogic experience with out practice, verbal descriptions of Eve's healing powers cannot begin to share the intensity of her gifts.

Eve is renowned throughout the country and the world as White Buffalo Woman. Although she remains humble and approachable, Eve carries the same Divine Feminine imprint as Mother Mary, Isis, Eve, and Quan Yin. She is an accomplished Shamanic Healer and Channel, bringing her clients profound messages of inspiration and guidance, working with each individual's spiritual, mental, emotional and physical bodies. In 1991, Eve experienced a series of personal challenges, which prompted her inward search. During a period of deep meditation and intense drumming, the divine being White Buffalo Woman made her presence known, and has since guided and orchestrated her inspirational work for the benefit of humanity. In addition, Eve's spiritual gifts enable her to connect to the energies of the Archangels, exalted masters and guides, and at times to the Higher Self or Inner Child of the client.

Saturday May 14, Sunday May 15, Monday May 16

Private or Group Sessions with White Buffalo Woman, Eve Kerwin

Your one hour session will begin with a 20-30 minute Shamanic Healing by White Buffalo Woman, who will work through Eve Kerwin with gentle hand movements around your physical body, focusing on the points of blockage or dis-harmony. This is a form of energetic “re-wiring” and a clearing of the etheric body.

Next, another guide will come through with a personalized channeled message for you. This being may be an Ascended Master, an Angel or Archangel, your own Higher Self or Inner Child. After the message, you are encouraged to ask questions about issues that concern you, until the session is complete. Afterwards, you can receive clarification on anything that Eve has shared.

If you wish to record your session, please bring a tape, an iPhone, or pen/paper.

$250/ private session by appointment / $95.00 group sessions - Sunday evening at 6:30

Group sessions are limited to 15 people, this small group size will allow everyone to experience a shamanic healing AND to receive a specific channeled message from the masters, guides, angels or messengers who speak through Eve. Groups fill up so sign up early!

In all cases, what is being offered is the opportunity for growth and transformation. The messages that come through Eve can help you gain an understanding of your soul’s journey in relation to past lives, family, friends, spouses, co-workers or departed loved-ones. Eve offers assistance in understanding and overcoming your personal challenges and connecting to your true mission in life.

AMY’S YOGA WITH A HEART PRESENTS:

ASHTANGA YOGA-

THE MEANS AND THE GOAL

WITH CHRISTINE HOAR

Authorized Ashtanga Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner from Bristol, Vermont and Montauk, NY

Christine’s workshops are inspiring, compassionate, insightful, and balanced. We will focus on “why” we practice Yoga as well as the “how” we practice yoga. This workshop will dive deeply into the Asana practice, but also includes discussion on pranayama, Yoga philosophy and the change that practice can bring to our lives. We will explore alignment, breath, precision in the Vinyasa method, and energetic movement or stagnation, using the postures in Primary and Second Series as springboards. Within this context, she aims to give students a working knowledge of the practice of Ashtanga Yoga, particularly as we evolve with it over many years of practice. Modifications to accommodate individual bodies and needs will be provided so all levels are welcome. The goal of this workshop is to refine our personal practices so that they feel joyful, pain-free, healing and transforming.
